Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions for using CASTING LAB, operated by PIF, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and the operator.

2. Nature of the Service

CASTING LAB is a casting and collaboration platform connecting professionals with companies and clients posting projects. Unless expressly stated otherwise, PIF is not a party to individual project contracts.

3. Effect and Changes

By signing up, signing in, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.

4. Accounts

Members must provide accurate, current information and may not use another person’s information or account. Third-party login providers may also apply their own terms.

5. LINE Login and Official Account

LINE Login may be offered in certain regions. Adding the CASTING LAB official account is optional.

6. Professional Member Responsibilities

Professional members must keep experience, portfolio, activity information, and rates accurate and must not upload third-party content without permission.

7. Company and Project Poster Responsibilities

Project posters must provide accurate business and project information and clearly state the schedule, location, role, compensation, deliverables, and content usage where possible.

8. Applications, Matching, and Contracts

Applications, offers, chat, and favorites are matching tools and do not by themselves create a contract. Any contract is formed by the parties’ final agreement.

9. Fees, Compensation, and Taxes

Where CASTING LAB does not directly provide payment or settlement, compensation is handled according to the parties’ agreement. Each member is responsible for applicable tax obligations.

10. Content and Intellectual Property

Rights in member-posted content generally remain with the member or lawful rights holder. Members grant the operator a non-exclusive license as needed to provide and promote the Service.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Impersonation, false projects, fraud, phishing, unlawful content, abusive automated collection, unauthorized disclosure of private information, harassment, threats, and similar rights violations are prohibited.

12. Reports and Restrictions

The operator may restrict content or accounts where legal violations, safety risks, false verification, spam, or fraud are confirmed or reasonably suspected.

13. Service Changes

Parts of the Service may be changed or suspended for maintenance, security, outages, third-party service changes, or business needs.

14. Limitation of Responsibility

Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the operator does not guarantee performance of contracts between members, schedules, deliverables, or payment.

15. Termination

Members may request account deletion through the Service or Support. Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without excluding mandatory rights that may apply to users in other jurisdictions.
